About Us
After spending more than 15 years creating training and education content, Michelle Rothenbecker launched Ruby Run LLC to leverage her content and product expertise to help you develop forward-thinking, inventive training and educational materials. Working in education, Michelle witnessed first-hand the need for external capacity to assist your team in completing projects with your budget in mind and at the highest quality. No project is too big or too small—Ruby Run is here to help.
Michelle Rothenbecker (she/her), CEO & Founder
Prior to launching Ruby Run LLC, Michelle was Vice President, Curriculum at a small K12 institution and previously served as Vice President, Courseware at Penn Foster, where she led content strategy, product development operations, product management, and project management. Before becoming a leader, Michelle worked as an instructional designer, editor, and writer, including for a small educational publishing company.
A lifelong learner, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and Literature from Wilkes University and both a Master of Education in Instructional Design and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
In her personal time, Michelle enjoys crafting, kayaking, and hiking with her husband and rescue dog, Bugsy. As a lover of live, loud music, Michelle is a frequent concertgoer, but she also loves curling up at home with a good book or movie and one of her three cats, Wednesday, Ripley, and Araya.
